Pulver Packaging has increased its folding carton manufacturing capacity with 2 new
production lines. The supplier, which is based in Elk Grove Village, IL, has purchased a Bobst Visioncut 106E die-cutter and a Signature 110 folder-gluer.

Patrick Pulver, CEO of Pulver Packaging, said, “We needed to increase our capacity to meet increased demand for our products. The speed, quality and user friendliness we have found with the Bobst Visioncut has secured the extra capacity, while the space saving Signature 110 has tripled our gluing output. Together, the 2 machines help ensure the quick turn times that our customers have come to expect.”

The Visioncut 106E replaced an older SP102, giving the supplier a considerabe increase in die
cutting capacity due to its performance, versatility, and ease of use. The machine features a double cam gripper bar advance system which lowers the stress on the sheet, allowing for higher speeds than their previous SP102.

The Signature folder-gluer can process many different straight-line, crash-lock, and 4/6 corner style boxes, adding capacity and capability to Pulver Packaging’s production. The SIGNATURE 110 includes many new developments designed to ensure precision alignment, higher speeds, and greater productivity.
